Growing Up Healthy (an HCI-supported program) envisions a Rice County in which diverse populations are connected to each other and are active participants in creating a community where all families thrive. We work with partner organizations and Latinx, immigrant and refugee families to transform communities through cultivating neighborhood leadership, fostering social connectedness, and collectively advocating for systems-level change. From July 2019 to June 2020, Growing Up Healthy connected with 833 Rice County community members (510 Faribault residents; 323 Northfield residents).
Growing Up Healthy’s work continues during Minnesota’s Stay Safe order.
We are grateful to the many community members and partners who are coordinating with us to support families during this difficult time!
Proud to be an HCI-supported program
