A Community Services Division staff member is available twice a month to talk with community members about education and recreation opportunities and scholarships.
Project ABLE

Project ABLE provides educational, social and recreational programming to Rice County residents of all ages with disabilities. A wide variety of activities are offered including Arts and Crafts, Cooking, Pizza Bingo, Movies, Mystery Dining and Special Events such as a river cruise or a trip to the renaissance festival. Once a month a representative from project ABLE is available to discuss project ABLE programming, registration and scholarships.
TORCH (Tackling Obstacles and Raising College Hopes)
TORCH is a college access program for Northfield middle and high school students. TORCH provides one-on-one mentoring, homework help/tutoring, visits to colleges, help with college applications and scholarships, ACT test preparation, scholarships and transportation for summer programs, community service opportunities and career exploration. The LINK Center has a bilingual TORCH representative available once a month to answer questions about the TORCH program as well as college applications, scholarships, and financial aid.

A public health nurse is available every Tuesday.
The HOPE Center
Community members can learn more about Hope Center services related to domestic violence, sexual assault, and harassment. Community members can also learn about orders for protection and restraining orders as well as support groups and security plans. The director of the HOPE Center is available on the first Tuesday of the month to talk with community members.
Southern Minnesota Regional Legal Services (SMRLS)
SMRLS provides civil legal services to low-income individuals. A lawyer is available twice a month to talk with community members.
The Immigrant Law Center of Minnesota (ILCM)
ILCM provides legal advice and representation to low-income immigrants and refugees in Minnesota. A lawyer is available once a month to talk with community members.
