Despite a horribly rainy day, the Growing Up Healthy event held in Viking Terrace on Saturday (September 13th) was a big success.  Several exciting things came about: a big group of service providers spent the afternoon in Viking Terrace - a part of the community they are not often in; many families braved the rain to come out and gather resources and socialize with each other; lots of kids enjoyed the moonwalk; and many ideas were hatched of how to create and support more activities in Viking Terrace.  It was exciting to be there!
