On Saturday, June 7 we initiated the Growing Up Healthy Neighborhood Leaders with their first day of intensive training. We met on the third floor of Faribault’s Buckham Memorial Library where Family and Children Services of Minneapolis provided training on the basics of community organizing - covering topics such as power, self-interest, leadership skills and styles, and accountability. Our second day of training will take place this Saturday, June 14th in Northfield.
